Mumbai November, 2025ACETECH 2025, India’s premier architecture, design, and construction exhibition, once again proved to be a vibrant platform for innovation, creativity, and collaboration. Bringing together architects, interior designers, and artisans from across the country, this year’s edition in Mumbai showcased how art and sustainability can coexist in harmony.

For designer-artists, ACETECH isn’t just a trade fair — it’s an ecosystem that celebrates imagination with impact. From reimagined industrial waste to emotionally resonant sculptures, the event offered a glimpse into the future of sustainable design. Among the most inspiring voices at the event were Zarna from Sarna’s Customized Art, Isha from Studio Auttam, and S. Hasmi from Hasmi Arts — each presenting a unique artistic philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, meaning, and environmental awareness.

Zarna’s Customized Art: Sculpting Nature and Emotion

Founder Zarna, the creative mind behind Zarna’s Customized Art and Accessories, showcased a series of bespoke sculptures crafted from wood, metal, stone, and mixed media. Each piece, she explained, carries a message — a dialogue between nature and human consciousness.

“The entire arena here follows the theme of being close to nature — to protect and live in harmony with it,” Zarna said. Among her most talked-about works were ‘The Owl’, symbolizing wisdom and environmental awareness, and ‘The Thinking Man’, representing mindful use of resources.

Another striking sculpture depicted balance in life — harmonizing career, personal relationships, and hobbies. Through this, Zarna emphasized that “balance is the essence of a fulfilled life.”

One of her most emotional installations celebrated womanhood, portraying a woman’s strength, resilience, and innate ability to nurture. “Despite facing so many challenges, she always smiles — that’s her nature,” Zarna noted. “A bird can only sit beside you when it senses care and warmth — and that’s what a woman always carries within her.”

A large gray wall installation tied her collection together, symbolizing the interconnectedness of life, nature, and human existence. The flowing design of leaves and patterns represented how ecosystems and emotions intertwine in everyday living — a reflection of Zarna’s philosophy that art should mirror life and responsibility toward nature.

Studio Auttam: Giving Industrial Scrap a New Artistic Life

Representing the new generation of eco-conscious designers, Isha Patel from Studio Auttam turned heads at ACETECH 2025 with her industrial scrap art installations. Her work reimagines discarded engine and car parts — from clutch plates and gears to springs — transforming them into intricate, thought-provoking art pieces.

“We work with broken-down engine parts and scrap materials,” Isha explained. “Every piece has a story behind it, and we refurbish it into art that carries a message of sustainability.”

What makes Studio Auttam’s creations stand out is their authentic individuality. “Nothing we make can ever be replicated,” Isha said. “Each artwork is built from a unique part I find, making every creation one-of-a-kind. It’s like giving a new life to something once considered waste.”

Her goal at ACETECH 2025 was to connect with architects and interior designers interested in integrating sustainable art into modern spaces. “I want to collaborate on impactful wall designs and installations that combine creativity and environmental responsibility,” she added.

When asked about her success mantra, Isha kept it simple yet powerful: “Create designs that make an impact — both aesthetically and sustainably.”

She also praised the platform for amplifying artists’ voices: “You guys at EQMint are doing a great job. Follow EQMint and stay tuned,” she smiled — echoing the enthusiasm that defined ACETECH 2025’s creative spirit.

Hasmi Arts: Blending Tradition, Patience, and Passion

The third artist, S. Hasmi of Hasmi Arts from Indore, brought a deeply personal touch to the event, blending traditional handcrafting skills with a story of persistence and love for art. Speaking in Hindi during his interaction, Hasmi shared how ACETECH 2025 has become a turning point in his artistic journey.

“I come from Indore, and ACETECH 2025 has given me a new identity,” he said. “I’ve been coming here for years to showcase my work. My specialty is in nail art — a craft I’ve been practicing for 10 to 15 years.”

Hasmi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers: “I want to thank the ACETECH 2025 team for giving me this platform to display my work and passion.”

He explained that his artistic journey began as a hobby, which gradually evolved into a recognized profession. “People started appreciating my work, and that encouragement motivated me to start my own company, S. Hasmi Arts, based in Indore.”

His intricate nail artworks — blending patience, precision, and emotion — are a reminder that art isn’t just visual; it’s an expression of identity and dedication.

ACETECH 2025 as a Platform for Artistic Expression

The stories of Zarna, Isha, and Hasmi collectively highlight why ACETECH remains India’s most important design showcase — a platform that not only connects creators with industry professionals but also fosters collaboration between sustainability and aesthetics.

From recycled industrial art to philosophical sculptures and traditional craftsmanship, ACETECH 2025 demonstrated how the boundaries between art, design, and sustainability are blurring — giving rise to a new creative movement that values purpose over perfection.

Conclusion: Art for a Sustainable Tomorrow

ACETECH 2025 reinforced the belief that art is not only about beauty but also about responsibility. As environmental concerns reshape creative industries, artists like Zarna, Isha, and Hasmi are redefining what it means to be a modern creator — conscious of the planet, connected to heritage, and committed to innovation.

In a world striving for balance between progress and preservation, their works serve as both a mirror and a message: creativity thrives most when it’s aligned with care, compassion, and consciousness.
