Lord’s Mark Industries Limited has announced that its Technical Committee has approved the final clinical trial stage for its AI-powered, radiation-free wearable breast cancer screening technology. Trials are planned across the USA, Great Britain and Europe, with the company targeting regulatory clearances and a potential commercial launch by April 2027.
Developed in collaboration with the Centre for Materials for Electronic Technology (C-MET), the technology combines thermal sensors with AI-based temperature mapping to identify abnormalities associated with breast cancer.
The company said clinical trials in India have already been completed, while Phase 2 trials are planned from January 2027 across India, the USA, Europe and Great Britain. Lord’s Mark is also pursuing regulatory evaluation in India, including the CDSCO approval process.
The company said the wearable device is designed to be portable, painless and radiation-free, potentially supporting screening in hospitals, clinics and underserved areas. Its global rollout remains subject to clinical results and regulatory approvals.
