Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Giants, WPL 2026 Highlights: Captain Harmanpreet Kaur played a brilliant innings of 71 runs off 43 balls to guide Mumbai Indians to a 7-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in the Women’s Premier League game here on Tuesday.
Put in to bat first, Gujarat Giants benefited from late hits by Georgia Wareham and Bharti Fulmali to reach a competitive total of 192 for 5. Wareham was not out for 43 runs off 33 balls, hitting four boundaries and a six, whereas Fulmali scored 36 runs off only 15 balls, hitting three sixes and as many fours.
Responding to the target, the Mumbai Indians achieved the target by losing only 3 wickets in 19.2 overs. Nicola Carey was not out on 38 runs off 23 balls.

GG let Harmanpreet Kaur off thrice, which was the biggest factor leading to MI’s victory. The Giants were very close to winning the match, but their errors in the field cost them the game.
Besides Gujarat’s bold hitters, Beth Mooney (33 runs off 26 balls), Kanika Ahuja (35 runs off 18 balls) and Ashleigh Gardner (20 runs off 11 balls) also had pretty good innings. Shabnim Ismail, who took 1 wicket and gave away only 25 runs in her 4-over spell, was the best bowler for MI.
