The device arrives with flagship-level specifications, AI-powered features and a strong focus on camera performance, battery life and durability.

Motorola also launched the Moto Buds 2 Plus alongside the smartphone, positioning it as a premium audio companion powered by Sound by Bose technology.

Massive 8.1-Inch Foldable Display

One of the biggest highlights of the Razr Fold is its display setup.

The smartphone features a 6.6-inch external AMOLED display that unfolds into a massive 8.1-inch 2K Extreme AMOLED main display.

Motorola claims the main display can reach up to 6,200 nits peak brightness and supports:

  • Dolby Vision
  • HDR10+
  • 165Hz LTPO refresh rate
  • Pantone validated colours

The large foldable screen is designed to offer tablet-like multitasking, gaming and content viewing experiences.

Motorola Focuses Heavily on Camera Performance

Motorola is aggressively marketing the Razr Fold around imaging capabilities.

The company claims the device features the “World’s Best Foldable Camera System” recognised with the DXOMARK Gold Label.

The phone includes:

Motorola has integrated several AI imaging features through its moto AI platform to improve dynamic range, stabilization and motion processing.

Biggest Battery in a Foldable

Battery life has historically been one of the biggest concerns in foldable smartphones.

Motorola is attempting to address that directly with a massive 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery inside the Razr Fold.

The company claims the phone can deliver over 43 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Charging features include:

  • 80W TurboPower fast charging
  • 50W wireless charging
  • 5W reverse charging

Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5

The Razr Fold runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm TSMC architecture.

The device is available in:

The special edition includes:

  • FIFA Heroes game
  • official FIFA wallpapers
  • 24-karat FIFA logo plating

The company says the edition will be available in limited quantities.

Moto Buds 2 Plus Also Debut

Alongside the foldable phone, Motorola launched the Moto Buds 2 Plus earbuds.

The earbuds feature:

  • Sound by Bose tuning
  • 11mm dynamic drivers
  • Dynamic ANC
  • Bluetooth 6.0
  • LHDC and LDAC codec support
  • up to 40 hours battery life

Motorola claims the earbuds offer the “segment’s best audio experience.”

  • ₹1,49,999 for 12GB + 256GB
  • ₹1,59,999 for 16GB + 512GB
  • ₹1,69,999 for FIFA Edition

After launch offers and exchange benefits, Motorola says the effective pricing can go significantly lower.

The Moto Buds 2 Plus are priced at ₹5,999, while the effective launch price drops to ₹4,999 with offers.

The Razr Fold will go on sale starting May 20, 2026 through:

  • Flipkart
  • Motorola.in
  • Reliance Digital
  • leading retail stores

Final Take

With the Razr Fold, Motorola is making a serious push into India’s ultra-premium foldable smartphone market.

Instead of focusing only on design, the company is aggressively targeting:

  • camera performance
  • battery endurance
  • AI integration
  • durability
  • long-term software support

The foldable segment remains niche, but competition is intensifying rapidly.

And Motorola clearly wants the Razr Fold to position itself as a premium flagship alternative against Samsung, OnePlus and other foldable players in India.
