The company will launch a new multispecialty hospital in Panchkula starting March 29, 2026, while also expanding the bed capacity at its Grecian Super Speciality Hospital in Mohali by 150 beds. These strategic initiatives will significantly increase the group’s healthcare capacity in the Tricity region Mohali, Panchkula, and Chandigarh bringing the combined capacity to 850 beds. The move reflects the group’s long-term vision to deliver advanced, technology-driven healthcare services and expand access to specialized medical care across the region.

About the Company

Park Medi World Limited operates the well-known Park Group of Hospitals, one of the largest private healthcare networks in North India. The group currently runs 15 hospitals with a combined capacity of around 3,610 beds, serving patients across several states.

New Multispecialty Hospital in Panchkula

One of the key highlights of the announcement is the launch of a new multispecialty hospital in Panchkula Haryana which will begin operations on March 29 2026. The hospital located at Plot No 1 Sector 5 MDC Urban Estate Panchkula has been designed as an advanced healthcare facility capable of providing tertiary and quaternary care services.

 

The new facility will be equipped with modern operation theatres advanced diagnostic technology and critical care infrastructure. It will offer specialized treatment across multiple disciplines helping address the growing demand for sophisticated medical services in the region.

 

Primarily catering to the domestic market the hospital will serve patients from Haryana Punjab Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Chandigarh Healthcare demand in the Tricity region has been rising steadily due to population growth and increasing awareness about specialized treatment options. The Panchkula facility aims to bridge that gap by bringing advanced medical care closer to patients.

 

Expansion at Mohali Hospital

The company also approved expanding bed capacity at Grecian Super Speciality Hospital in Mohali along with the new hospital launch.

 

This hospital is run by RGS Healthcare Limited which is a subsidiary of Park Medi World Limited. It has 350 beds right now and operates at around 73% capacity utilization as of Q3 FY2026.

 

To meet growing patient demand the company plans to add 150 more beds which will increase the facility’s overall capacity a lot. The expansion will take about 18 months and cost around ₹40 crore funded through internal accruals of the subsidiary.

This will help the hospital provide more high-end medical services especially in specialized fields that need advanced equipment and expert medical teams

Focus on Advanced Medical Specialties

The Mohali expansion will particularly focus on strengthening high-acuity specialties such as oncology, neurosciences, gastro sciences, and robotic surgeries.

In addition, the hospital plans to introduce robotic joint replacement procedures, which allow surgeons to perform complex operations with greater precision while reducing recovery time for patients.

These developments reflect the growing role of medical technology in modern healthcare. Advanced surgical systems and minimally invasive procedures are becoming increasingly important for improving patient outcomes and reducing hospital stays.

Strengthening Healthcare in the Tricity Region

With the launch of the Panchkula hospital and the expansion in Mohali, the Park Group of Hospitals is set to significantly increase its presence in the Tricity healthcare ecosystem.

The combined capacity in the region will reach approximately 850 beds, including 350 existing beds at Mohali, a capacity of up to 350 beds at the Panchkula facility, and the new 150-bed expansion in Mohali.

This scale will make the group one of the largest private healthcare networks in the Tricity region, helping improve access to specialized medical services for thousands of patients.

A Long-Term Vision for Growth

Beyond the Tricity region the group is also pursuing broader expansion plans. It is currently working on integrating six additional hospitals and expanding existing facilities which could increase its total bed capacity to 5460 beds by March 2028.
