SiMa.ai and Kaynes Semicon Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate High-Performance Physical AI Innovation

Bengaluru, January 16, 2026: SiMa.ai, a pioneer in purpose-built hardware and software for Physical AI, has announced a strategic partnership with Kaynes Semicon Private Limited. Kaynes Semicon is a leading company in India specializing in advanced semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT), defense
vision solutions, and reference design manufacturing. Together, the two companies aim to accelerate the growth of next-generation Physical AI in India and global markets.

 

As part of this partnership, SiMa.ai will work with Kaynes Semicon’s to deliver Make in India electronic systems that can accelerate adoption of AI and ML solutions in the industries such as industrial automation, robotics, automotive, aerospace, and defense.

 

Co-Development to Power Mission-Critical Physical AI Applications

SiMa.ai and Kaynes Semicon will also jointly deliver a portfolio of defense-focused AI solutions. By combining Kaynes’ advanced assembly and test capabilities with SiMa.ai’s industry-leading Physical AI technology, the companies aim to meet mission-critical requirements for smart vision, robotics,
surveillance and autonomous systems in defense and aerospace.

 

Kaynes Semicon will also design and manufacture production reference boards for SiMa.ai’s MLSoC platforms. This will enable customers and system integrators to rapidly evaluate and deploy SiMa.ai’s “push-button” AI inference technology at the edge. Through co-created reference hardware and volume manufacturing readiness, the partnership will help customers move from proof of-concept to commercialization with greater speed and reliability.
