Hyderabad is all set to play host to the celebration of 50 years of the legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja on March 28 through a musical extravaganza organised by Spice Lounge Food Works Limited at Gachibowli Stadium.
The event is being organised through XORA World, a proprietary cultural and experiential platform owned by Rightfest, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spice Lounge Food Works. The concert will honour Ilaiyaraaja’s prolific five-decade career, during which he has composed over 7,000 songs and created music for thousands of films across multiple languages.
Strategic Evolution into Lifestyle Ecosystems
This move into major live events represents a conscious effort by the company to grow its “operating canvas”.
By moving into adjacent lifestyle verticals, Spice Lounge Food Works aims to:
-
Strengthen its direct-to-consumer engagement capabilities.
-
Build proprietary platforms with strong cultural and emotional resonance.
-
Create high-visibility touchpoints in key urban markets.
-
Enhance brand recall across its diverse business ecosystem.
Beyond the concert, this is a massive strategic pivot for the company as it looks to expand beyond traditional dining into large-scale entertainment and lifestyle experiences.
Speaking about the event, Chairman and Director of Spice Lounge Food Works, Mohan Babu Karjela, hailed the ‘defining milestone’ which he said reinforces a vision of creating a lifestyle ecosystem that connects food with culture and community.
