What Investors Should Check
With 7 IPOs opening around the same time, investors have several choices competing for the same capital.
Before applying, investors should examine the company’s valuation, revenue and profit growth, debt levels, use of IPO proceeds and the proportion of fresh issue versus offer for sale.
For SME IPOs, trading lot sizes and post-listing liquidity also deserve attention.
Subscription numbers and grey-market premiums can attract attention, but they don’t replace a look at the underlying business.
EQMint Take
7 IPOs in one week makes for a crowded primary market.
The mainboard issues alone are targeting more than ₹1,265 crore, while 4 SME IPOs add further choices for investors.
The smarter approach is to compare each company on its own fundamentals, valuation and growth plans.
An IPO can generate plenty of excitement before listing. The real test begins when the company has to turn public-market capital into business growth.
