PC Jeweller Nears Debt-Free Milestone
The company now has only a small portion of its outstanding debt remaining with the 6 consortium banks.
With more than 96% already discharged, PC Jeweller is targeting completion of the balance during the current quarter. If achieved, the company would reach its stated objective of becoming debt-free under the ongoing repayment plan.
The development is particularly relevant for investors tracking PC Jeweller’s financial position, as the reduction in debt can affect interest costs, leverage and the company’s overall balance-sheet structure.
The company said all repayments to the 8 banks were completed ahead of their scheduled due dates, reflecting the pace of its debt-clearing programme.
