Where Will Purple Style Labs Use IPO Money?
A large portion of the IPO proceeds is planned for PSL Retail, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary.
According to the company’s offer documents, around ₹371.13 crore is planned for expenditure related to lease liabilities for experience centres and back-end offices in India. Around ₹138.90 crore is earmarked for sales and marketing expenses, with the remaining proceeds intended for general corporate purposes.
Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop Business
Purple Style Labs operates Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, a multi-brand luxury fashion omnichannel platform.
The platform sells products from more than 1,300 designers and offers over 2 lakh products through its digital platform and 14 Experience Centres. Its product categories include womenswear, menswear, jewellery, accessories and kidswear.
The company has expanded its physical retail presence after acquiring Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop in 2018, when the business was primarily focused on online sales.
Celebrity Investors Draw Attention
The IPO has also attracted attention because of its publicly disclosed celebrity investors.
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and his family, Sachin Tendulkar, Madhuri Dixit and Mahesh Babu are among the celebrity investors associated with Purple Style Labs.
The company has also received backing from institutional investors, family offices and private investors.
Revenue Growth, But FY26 Loss
Purple Style Labs has recorded strong revenue growth over the past few years. Revenue rose from around ₹45 crore in FY20 to ₹508 crore in FY24, according to its offer documents.
The company, however, reported a loss in FY2026, meaning its basic and diluted EPS were negative and the traditional P/E valuation metric was not applicable.
This makes profitability and the company’s ability to convert its expanding luxury-fashion business into sustainable earnings key points for investors to watch.
What Investors Should Watch
The Purple Style Labs IPO is entering the market with a ₹546–₹575 price band and a valuation of more than ₹4,600 crore at the upper end.
The company is targeting further expansion of its luxury retail network, while the IPO proceeds will also support marketing and lease-related expenses.
The key dates are now set: the anchor book opens August 28, public subscription begins August 31, and the issue closes September 2.
