September 03, 2026: MIC Electronics is expanding into the defence technology space with the incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, MIC Defence Systems Private Limited.

The company informed the BSE and NSE on September 2, 2026, that the subsidiary was incorporated on August 31, 2026, following the Board’s earlier approval on July 31. MIC Electronics had approved an initial investment of up to ₹10 lakh for the new entity.

The new subsidiary is fully owned by MIC Electronics, giving the parent company 100% ownership of MIC Defence Systems Private Limited.
The subsidiary has been incorporated with an authorised share capital of ₹10 lakh, divided into 1 lakh equity shares of ₹10 each. Its subscribed and paid-up share capital currently stands at ₹1 lakh, divided into 10,000 equity shares of ₹10 each.
The company has registered the new entity in Cherlapally, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Defence Electronics at the Core
MIC Defence Systems has a broad proposed business scope.
According to the company’s filing, the subsidiary will work across defence electronics, defence systems, aerospace, homeland security, unmanned systems, communication systems and surveillance solutions.
