Elitecon International Limited (BSE: 539533; NSE: ELITECON) gained around 5% in Wednesday’s trading session after the company announced that its Board of Directors will meet on 12 October 2026 to consider raising funds through equity shares and other eligible securities. The Elitecon International board meeting fundraise proposal was disclosed in a Regulation 29(1)(d) filing dated 7 October 2026.

The board will consider various fundraising instruments, including preference shares, convertible or non-convertible debentures, warrants and securities convertible into or exchangeable for equity shares.

The company may consider routes such as qualified institutions placement (QIP), preferential issue, private placement, rights issue, further public offer and debt issue. The fundraiser could be undertaken in one or more tranches.

Elitecon has not disclosed the proposed fundraising amount, issue price or timeline. These details, along with the type and size of securities and the issuance mechanism, will be considered by the board.

The proposal will remain subject to applicable laws and regulations, along with shareholder and regulatory approvals wherever required.

The company’s trading window for designated persons and their immediate relatives is also closed under SEBI’s insider trading regulations. It will remain closed until 48 hours after the announcement of the company’s relevant unaudited financial results.
