Synopsis: Raymond Limited is adding a brownfield manufacturing facility near its existing mega plant in Andhra Pradesh to meet near-term customer demand, while its larger greenfield project remains on schedule.
Raymond Limited is accelerating its manufacturing expansion in Andhra Pradesh with a new brownfield facility planned near its existing mega plant. The additional capacity is intended to meet rising customer requirements during the current financial year, while the company continues work on its longer-term greenfield project.
The announcement was made on 12 October 2026 through a regulatory disclosure to BSE (scrip code 500330) and NSE (symbol RAYMOND) under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s listing requirements.
According to the company, the brownfield facility will help accommodate incremental orders and volumes without replacing the planned greenfield expansion. The larger project is expected to strengthen manufacturing infrastructure and support medium- to long-term growth.
Sanjeev Sharma, Joint Managing Director and CEO of JKMPTL, Raymond Group, said the additional capacity would help the business respond faster to customer requirements and capture near-term opportunities.
Raymond Limited currently focuses on engineering businesses, including tools and auto components, aerospace and defence. Its acquisition of Maini Precision Products Limited expanded its presence in aerospace and defence manufacturing.
The company has not disclosed the brownfield facility’s investment amount, production capacity or commissioning date.
