Chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the council has officially granted Acceptance of Necessity to multiple indigenous tracking and combat platforms that align directly with the company’s manufacturing profile.

High-Value Naval and Army Allocations

For the Indian Navy, the council gave the green light to procure Multi-Influence Ground Mines. Apollo Micro Systems operates as the DRDO-approved production agency for this exact system under the development-cum-production framework, holding technology transfer rights for the MIGM-Vighana. Simultaneously, multiple clearances for the Indian Army, including Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missiles and Very Short Range Air Defence Systems, fall squarely under the lifetime arms manufacturing license granted to the company earlier this year.

Order Book Scaling and Market Response

Investor sentiment responded strongly to the regulatory tailwinds, causing Apollo Micro Systems shares to jump 5.32% in early trading sessions. The latest policy push further solidifies the company’s structural pipeline following its strongest financial performance on record, which concluded with annual revenues hitting ₹904 crore and its consolidated order book soaring to an all-time high of ₹1,432 crore. Industry experts project that the newly cleared naval mine segment alone could represent a lifetime revenue opportunity near ₹2,000 crore.

The board of directors is scheduled to convene on July 6 to evaluate a preferential fundraising strategy, which is anticipated to secure the necessary operational growth capital to manage this accelerating order flow.
