Lord’s Mark Industries has drawn fresh investor attention after Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius reportedly acquired 51 lakh shares worth ₹42.84 crore, while promoter Sachidanand Hariram Upadhyay proposed reinvesting the majority of ₹87.39 crore generated from his recent share sale into the company’s medical-device business.

According to a September 18 report, the Goldman Sachs entity purchased the shares at ₹84 apiece, representing approximately 1.2% of Lord’s Mark’s paid-up equity. The transaction brings institutional participation into focus, although it does not represent an announced strategic partnership or confirm the investor’s intentions.

Meanwhile, a September 24 BSE filing stated that the promoter sold 10,356,983 shares and proposed using most of the proceeds to expand Lord’s Mark’s medical-device unit.

The proposed reinvestment could strengthen the company’s MedTech expansion plans. However, the exact amount, structure and timeline of the reinvestment remain unspecified.
