- Eyewitness Accounts: Local residents reported seeing the aircraft appear “unstable” before it hit the ground and exploded. Visuals from the site showed the wreckage completely engulfed in flames with thick plumes of black smoke.

About Ajit Pawar (1959–2026)
Known popularly as “Dada,” Ajit Pawar was one of Maharashtra’s most powerful and influential political figures. He was the nephew of veteran politician Sharad Pawar, though he famously led a split in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in 2023 to join the NDA government.
He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra for a record six terms under various administrations. He is survived by his wife, Sunetra Pawar, and two sons, Parth and Jay Pawar.
This is a developing story.
