Servotech Renewable Power System Limited has announced a significant expansion of its clean energy and mobility portfolio with its entry into the electric three-wheeler (E-3W) segment. The company disclosed this development in a regulatory filing and press release dated January 5, 2026, submitted under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The move marks a strategic diversification for Servotech Renewable, which has built its reputation as a leading player in solar solutions and EV charging infrastructure. By introducing lithium-ion batteries and dedicated chargers designed specifically for electric three-wheelers, the company is positioning itself to tap into one of India’s fastest-growing electric mobility segments.

Strategic Announcement at SUNKALP 2026

Servotech Renewable formally announced its entry into the E-3W segment at its annual flagship event, SUNKALP, held in New Delhi. The launch underscores the company’s broader vision of delivering end-to-end clean energy solutions across mobility and residential use cases.

At the event, Servotech unveiled SULTAN, a lithium-ion battery engineered exclusively for electric three-wheelers, along with Zest, a purpose-built battery charger aimed at improving charging efficiency and vehicle uptime. In addition, the company also introduced Voltie, a 2 kW on-grid solar inverter designed for residential and small commercial applications, further strengthening its renewable energy product portfolio.

Tapping into India’s Rapidly Growing E-3W Market

India’s electric three-wheeler segment has emerged as one of the most dynamic categories within the country’s electric vehicle ecosystem. Driven by rapid urbanisation, the growth of last-mile delivery services, rising fuel costs, and supportive government policies, E-3Ws are increasingly being adopted for passenger transport and cargo movement.

Servotech Renewable’s entry into this space reflects a calculated move to build a focused presence in micro-mobility. The company is leveraging its two decades of experience in power electronics, energy systems, and EV charging solutions to address the specific operational challenges faced by three-wheeler operators.

According to the company, the electric three-wheeler market holds immense potential not only from a sustainability standpoint but also as a means of empowering small transport entrepreneurs across urban and semi-urban India.

SULTAN Battery: Built for Performance and Durability

The newly launched SULTAN lithium-ion battery has been developed specifically for E-Rickshaws, E-Autos, and E-Cargo vehicles. It is available in two configurations—51.2V/105Ah and 64V/105Ah—to cater to varying vehicle requirements and use cases.

Servotech has used LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry in the SULTAN battery, which offers multiple advantages including enhanced safety, longer lifecycle, improved thermal stability, and a lighter form factor. The reduced weight contributes to better payload capacity, a critical factor for commercial three-wheeler operators.

By focusing on durability and reliability, Servotech aims to reduce downtime for operators and improve total cost of ownership, a key consideration in the highly price-sensitive micro-mobility segment.

Zest Charger: Enhancing Charging Efficiency and Uptime

Complementing the battery offering, Servotech introduced Zest, a dedicated charger designed specifically for electric three-wheelers. The charger has been engineered to reduce charging time while offering enhanced battery protection, helping extend battery life and improve operational efficiency.

Zest is targeted at three-wheeler OEMs, dealers, and distributors, and is expected to play a critical role in ensuring reliable charging infrastructure for fleet operators and individual vehicle owners alike.

Together, SULTAN and Zest form an integrated energy solution for the E-3W segment, reinforcing Servotech’s approach of offering complete, technology-led solutions rather than standalone products.

Voltie Solar Inverter Expands Renewable Portfolio

While the focus of the announcement remained on clean mobility, Servotech also unveiled Voltie, its newly developed 2 kW on-grid solar inverter. Designed for seamless grid integration, Voltie is aimed at residential and small-scale commercial users seeking efficient solar power solutions.

The launch of Voltie highlights Servotech Renewable’s continued commitment to solar energy and reinforces its vision of providing integrated clean energy solutions that span both mobility and stationary power needs.

Management Commentary and Future Roadmap

Commenting on the expansion, Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Limited, said the company’s entry into the electric three-wheeler segment represents a natural progression of its clean energy journey.

He noted that Servotech has already built strong leadership positions in solar energy and EV charging, and the extension into lithium-ion solutions for micro-mobility allows the company to apply its existing expertise to a rapidly growing market. While the initial launch includes two battery models and one basic charger variant, the company plans to deepen its presence with additional models and variants in the future.

Management also emphasised that innovation, scale, and reliability will remain central to Servotech’s strategy as it works to support India’s transition towards greener and more sustainable transport solutions.

Strengthening India’s EV Infrastructure Vision

Servotech Renewable is an NSE-listed company with a strong pan-India presence and a legacy of innovation in electronics and energy systems. The company offers a wide range of AC and DC EV chargers compatible with multiple electric vehicle types, serving both commercial and domestic applications.

With its entry into the E-3W battery and charger space, Servotech is further strengthening its role in India’s EV infrastructure development. The move aligns closely with national priorities around clean mobility, reduced carbon emissions, and energy security.

Outlook

As India’s electric three-wheeler market continues to expand, Servotech Renewable’s integrated approach—combining batteries, chargers, and solar solutions—positions it well to capture emerging opportunities across the clean energy value chain.

The company’s latest expansion signals a strategic shift from being a solutions provider in charging and solar to becoming a more comprehensive clean mobility player, with micro-mobility as a key growth driver in the coming years.
