A Real World Test in a Real-Time Environment
The PoC was carried out over two days, on 15 and 16 January 2026, inside the operational setting of Madgaon railway station. Unlike controlled lab conditions, the railway environment posed real challenges crowd movement, time constraints, and operational pressures. Yet, BluHealth’s technology functioned smoothly, screening 44 individuals, including 30 KRCL staff members and 14 passengers, under the supervision of railway officials and medical personnel.
What stood out was the speed and simplicity of the process. Using AI augmented, non-contact tools, the system captured key health vitals such as heart rate, blood pressure, SpO₂ levels, respiration rate, stress index, body temperature, and even AI interpreted single-lead ECG readings. The goal wasn’t diagnosis, but early risk identification a crucial distinction in preventive healthcare.

The BluHealth platform isn’t just about gathering numbers. During the PoC, the system showcased automated risk stratification, categorising individuals based on clinical grade indicators. This allowed health professionals on site to quickly understand which readings needed closer attention. Importantly, all data was anonymised and privacy compliant, addressing a major concern in large scale health deployments.
Another key takeaway was operational feasibility. The system worked efficiently in a busy public space, proving that AI driven screening can be scaled across transport hubs, workplaces, and other high-footfall locations without disrupting daily operations.
