Tata Group-backed retailer Trent reported a 23% year-on-year rise in standalone revenue from operations to ₹5,788 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with ₹4,724 crore in the year-ago period. The growth was supported by its fashion and lifestyle businesses.

The company also crossed a major retail milestone during the quarter as Zudio opened its 1,000th store. As of September 30, Trent operated 1,342 stores across Zudio, Westside and other lifestyle brands, compared with 1,101 stores a year earlier.

During Q2 FY27, Trent added 17 Zudio stores and 10 Westside outlets on a net basis. For the first half of FY27, revenue rose 21% year-on-year to ₹11,454 crore.

The update comes as Indian apparel retailers face uneven discretionary demand and increasing competition. Investors will now track same-store sales and revenue productivity as Trent continues its rapid store expansion.
