ESDS Software Solutions has emerged as one of the biggest success stories in India’s IPO market this year, with its shares continuing to surge after a blockbuster stock-market debut.
On September 10, the ESDS share price rose 7.52% to ₹1,546.90 on the NSE, extending its rally for a fifth consecutive trading session. The stock touched an intraday high of ₹1,568.70 before slipping from the day’s peak.
The rally has been extraordinary considering that ESDS was issued at ₹429 per share just days earlier.
By September 11, the stock had climbed further, reaching ₹1,740, meaning it had gained more than 300% from its IPO price within six trading sessions.
ESDS Share Price Rises Over 260% From IPO Price
ESDS Software Solutions made its stock-market debut on September 4, 2026.
The company was listed on the NSE at ₹757.10, a premium of 76.46% over its ₹429 IPO price. On the BSE, the stock opened at ₹746.30, representing a 73.96% premium.
The shares continued to climb after listing, hitting their upper circuit repeatedly. By September 10, the stock was trading more than 260% above its IPO price.
The latest move has pushed ESDS into the spotlight as one of the strongest-performing IPOs of 2026.
What Is Driving the ESDS Rally?
ESDS Software Solutions operates in areas including AI-enabled cloud services, managed services, data center infrastructure, and software solutions.
The company is benefiting from growing investor interest in India’s artificial intelligence and data center infrastructure themes.
The broader AI infrastructure narrative has become a major market theme, with investors looking for companies that could benefit from rising demand for computing capacity, cloud services, and digital infrastructure.
ESDS’s business positioning in this segment has therefore attracted significant investor attention.
ESDS IPO Received Massive Investor Demand
The company’s strong stock-market performance follows an exceptionally strong response to its IPO.
The ₹720-crore IPO was subscribed 135.88 times, with investors placing bids for approximately 1.68 billion shares against around 12.35 million shares on offer.
Institutional investors showed particularly strong demand. The qualified institutional buyer portion was subscribed 261.51 times, while the non-institutional category was subscribed 192.94 times.
The retail portion was also subscribed nearly 40 times.
Before the public issue opened, ESDS also raised around ₹216 crore from anchor investors.
ESDS Listing Delivered a Massive First-Day Gain
The ESDS IPO was priced at the upper end of its ₹408–₹429 price band.
Its NSE listing at ₹757.10 immediately gave investors a substantial gain.
The stock then closed its first trading session at ₹895.55, representing a gain of 108.75% over the IPO price.
The momentum did not stop after the first day.
ESDS shares gained 20% each on September 7 and September 8, followed by another 10% rise on September 9 before the 7.52% gain recorded on September 10.
ESDS Becomes a Standout IPO of 2026
The sharp rise has made ESDS one of the most successful new listings of the year.
At ₹1,546.90 on September 10, the company’s market capitalization was around ₹17,600 crore, according to India Infoline.
The stock’s rise also comes against a weaker broader market, making its performance particularly notable.
The rally continued into September 11, when the stock reached ₹1,740 and recorded its sixth consecutive session of gains.

Why Investors Are Watching ESDS
The ESDS rally highlights how strongly investors are responding to companies linked to India’s digital infrastructure and AI growth.
However, the speed of the rally has also pushed the stock to a significantly higher valuation compared with its IPO price.
A separate analysis noted that ESDS was trading at around 145 times earnings, compared with a sector median of approximately 26 times, highlighting the valuation risk after the sharp post-listing surge.
This makes future earnings growth, margins, and execution particularly important for the stock.
What to Watch Ahead
Investors will likely monitor ESDS’s upcoming financial results, trading volumes, and the sustainability of demand for its shares.
The company’s exposure to data centers and AI infrastructure could remain a positive theme, but the stock’s rapid appreciation also means expectations have risen sharply.
The key question now is whether ESDS’s business growth can keep pace with its dramatic rise in market valuation.
EQMint Take
ESDS Software Solutions has delivered one of the most spectacular IPO debuts of 2026.
From an IPO price of ₹429 to ₹1,740 within six trading sessions, the stock has more than quadrupled in a remarkably short period.
The rally reflects strong investor appetite for India’s AI, cloud, and data center infrastructure story. But after such a rapid rise, valuation and future earnings growth become just as important as the company’s growth potential.
For investors, ESDS is now a stock to watch not only for its remarkable returns but also for whether its underlying business performance can justify the market’s exceptionally high expectations.
