Gravita India reported consolidated revenue of approximately ₹1,427 crore for Q2 FY27, up 38% year-on-year. EBITDA increased 28% to ₹143.37 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) rose 6% to ₹102.01 crore.
For the first half of FY27, revenue reached ₹2,902 crore, up 40%. EBITDA rose 29% to ₹288 crore, while PAT increased 10% to ₹208 crore. The slower growth in profit compared with revenue highlights the need to monitor margins as the business expands.
Copper is an important part of Gravita’s diversification strategy. The company is planning additional copper capacity and aims to expand beyond its traditional lead recycling business.
Under its Vision 2030 strategy, Gravita has outlined targets for volume growth, profitability and a broader non-lead business mix. However, execution will depend on capacity utilisation, scrap availability and the performance of its newer business segments.
Investors will be watching whether profit growth catches up with revenue as expansion progresses.
