SRIT India and Shah Investor’s Home made their stock market debuts on October 6, with both stocks listing above their respective IPO issue prices.
SRIT India shares opened at ₹148 on the NSE against an issue price of ₹130, delivering a 13.85% listing gain. On the BSE, the stock opened at ₹139.80, up 7.54% over its issue price.
The ₹218.40-crore SRIT India IPO was subscribed 125.16 times overall. The company operates across healthcare, e-governance, telecommunications and broadband, providing IT and digital solutions.
Meanwhile, Shah Investor’s Home opened at ₹171 on both the NSE and BSE, compared with its issue price of ₹167, translating into a 2.4% gain.
The brokerage firm’s ₹90.17-crore IPO was subscribed 38.12 times overall. Shah Investor’s Home provides equity and derivatives broking, IPO, mutual fund and other investment-related services.
The contrasting debuts also highlight the gap between grey-market expectations and actual listing performance, with both stocks listing below the premiums indicated by pre-listing GMP trends.
