Pocket Films has launched Chhori Paagal Se, a new Indian micro-drama set in Meerut that combines crime, comedy and fast-paced vertical storytelling. The series is streaming exclusively on the Pocket Films app.
The story follows Anaya Chaudhary, a young woman dismissed as reckless and uncontrollable. When a kidnapping attempt goes wrong, she takes charge, turning a ransom plan into a chaotic fight for power, survival and identity.
Directed by Yogi Chopra, the series stars Riya Choudhary in the lead role, with Dr. Priya Goswami playing Katrina. The production features local actors from Meerut and Delhi, bringing regional flavour to its crime-comedy narrative.
Pocket Films founder Saameer Mody said the series aims to move beyond predictable micro-drama storytelling through its strong female protagonist, humour and distinctly Indian setting.
The launch adds to the platform’s original lineup, which includes Vidushi, Chaturanga, Beqaboo and Rivals. Pocket Films focuses on short films and mobile-first entertainment, with vertical micro-dramas forming part of its growing catalogue.
